When can I schedule my free consultation with EcoNize?
We do our best to accommodate consultation requests within 1-2 weeks. That said, there may be instances in which we are extremely busy and need to schedule for a later date.
How long does an EcoNize consultation take?
Most of our consultations last about 90 minutes. Our designer will measure your space, talk through your project and needs, and then design a web-based proposal specifically for your spaces or windows! If you are looking at a lot of cabinetry or windows throughout your entire home, the consultation could run two hours or more.
When will I receive my proposal from EcoNize after my consultation?
Unlike some other companies, we do not charge or require a commitment from you to receive your proposal. Your designer will have your proposal to review with you in person during your meeting. In the event of large whole-home proposals, or if the project is a construction project with limited space for the designer to meet and review the proposal with you, then they will email the proposal within 24-48 hours of your consultation.
What is the lead time from consultation to installation?
The lead times for blind installations can vary greatly based upon product line, selection, operating system, and fabric availability. For example, Duette Honeycomb Blinds usually have about a 2-3 week lead time, whereas Powerview Roller Shades might take as long as 6-8 weeks. Given the potential longer lead times on blinds, we do our best to schedule installations within 1-2 weeks of receiving materials. Please consult with your designer about lead times and scheduling, as they of course are subject to change with very short notice.
How long will my installation take?
Most installations are completed in a single day! Even for larger whole-home projects, we simply send out larger crews to complete the work in a day to minimize the disturbance to your schedule and home life.
Can I just purchase the material from EcoNize and install it myself?
Providing kits of material and hardware for DIY installations is not a service we offer. Our in-house installers carefully install each and every project for our clients!
Can I paint the material installed by EcoNize?
All of our cabinet material offerings are high-quality TFL (Thermally Fused Laminate). We do not recommend painting the materials. We offer over 20 finish options from a wide range of color palettes for you to choose from!
Are the materials EcoNize uses manufactured in the USA?
Yes! Our manufacturer is based in Holland, MI and all of our materials are produced from raw materials sourced from the USA and Canada.

What if I’m not completely satisfied?
At EcoNize, our goal is 100% client satisfaction. We think you’ll be blown away by every final finished Econize product. However, if you have concerns or questions after your installation, simply reach out to your designer or our operations team to put a plan into action to address your concerns right away.
